Dr. Miller is an Affiliated Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Professor of Pediatrics and Obstetrics and Gynecology. He received his M.D. from Yale Medical School in 1973. His research interests are unexplained fractures in infants and children, factors that determine bone strength in infants and children, and analyzing X-rays of infants to determine those architectural parameters that influence bone strength. He has postulated a biomechanical etiology for the controversial entity temporary brittle bone disease.
