The Human Factors Engineering Distance Learning program provides the convenience and flexibility of completing courses off-campus to earn a Masters of Science in Engineering degree with the structure, content, and interactivity of the traditional classes taught at Wright State University.
The HFE program at Wright State University is unique in the United States as the only stand-alone M.S. in Human Factors Engineering. Graduates from the HFE Distance Learning program are equipped to design and evaluate machine systems from a human-centered perspective focusing on building more efficient systems from a human-centered perspective focusing on building more efficient machine systems, designing for maintainability and easing the burden on human operators.
Distance Learning courses run concurrently with classes taught at Wright State University by a Human Factors Engineering professor. Each lecture and any supporting materials are provided to Distance Learning students through the Internet. Distance Learning students follow the same syllabus and schedule as students attending the corresponding course at Wright State University. There is no difference in tuition or registration for Distance Learning courses and other courses offered by Wright State University.
