The Industrial & Human Factors Engineering Distance Education program provides the convenience and flexibility of completing courses off-campus to earn a Masters of Science in Engineering degree with the structure, content, and interactivity of the traditional classes taught at Wright State University.

Graduates from the IHE Distance Education program are equipped to design and evaluate machine systems from a human-centered perspective focusing on building more efficient systems from a human-centered perspective focusing on building more efficient machine systems, designing for maintainability and easing the burden on human operators.

Distance Education courses run concurrently with classes taught at Wright State University by an Industrial & Human Factors Engineering professor.  Each lecture and any supporting materials are provided to Distance Education students through the Internet.  Distance Education students follow the same syllabus and schedule as students attending the corresponding course at Wright State University.  There is no difference in tuition or registration for Distance Education courses and other courses offered by Wright State University.
