CCTVs is also known as video magnifiers. CCTVs provide greater large print access to the text, pictures, documents, and small items under a camera. A wide variety of CCTVs exists. They include CCTVs with an integral/screen monitor, portable with magnification preset, CCTVs designed with a separate monitor, and CCTVs that can be used with a television monitor. With a television monitor, one must consider connection. It is either a cable connector or aerial socket. Generally, CCTVs are used on workstation. There are portable units that are mobile and other CCTVs that are stationary. Desktop (stationary CCTVs) offers more magnification range as oppose to portable CCTVs with limited magnification range. There are also option of full color or monochrome of display images.
