Mouse
A mouse device is designed to shape to fit the palm. Usually, it is attached to the computer through a cord or can be wireless using infrared signals. It provides auditory feedback by clicking the buttons. At the workstation, mouse requires less space for movement. Most mouse are inexpensive, costing around $10. A disadvantage is that it has a limited use in drawing because it is not natural as the drawing pen.

Footmouse
People who have no function in the upper extremity have a choice of a footmouse. There are wide varieties of footmouse such as joystick, two paddles, or buttons. Some devices provide tactile feedback or kinesthetic feedback.

Joystick
The joystick consists of a lever mounted on a fixed base and requires the use of the hand and fingers. It can operate in isotonic or isometric. The joystick is suited for tracking task or pointing task that does not require a great deal of precision. Often, people who are using a wheelchair are fitted for the joystick for the computer since it associates with the joystick on the wheelchair.

Trackball
The trackball consists of a ball house onto a base and require finger and wrist movement. The speed is dependent on the velocity of the ball spinning. Requires little space, and is compatible with a laptop computer, it might however take time to get adjusted since it does not have kinesthetic feedback.

Button Mouse
The button mouse has almost the same features as a joystick. However, the button requires the use of the finger to move the cursor. Pressing one side of the button will cause that movement of the cursor. Button
is velocity control. The harder the user press one side of the button, the faster the cursor move.

Tablet
Graphic or data tablets consist of a flat panel mostly found on laptop and alternatively called "touch pad". Movement of the finger directs movement of the cursor correspond to the movement of the finger. This device is not recommended for this device or people with low vision since it relies heavily on the visual feedback.
