OHIO REHABILITATION TECHNOLOGY ASSOCIATION

(ORTA)


ORTA, the Ohio Rehabilitation Technology Association, is a professional organization of individuals who are involved in or interested in the provision of technology to persons with disabilities. It is a division of the Ohio Rehabilitation Association. The organization's main objective is to act as an information-sharing resource for rehabilitation engineers/technologists and other interested parti es throughout the state.

ORTA shares case studies of individuals receiving service in adaptive/assistive technology. In addition, it addresses issues pertinent to the profession, such as liability, licensure, ethics and standards.

ORTA meets on a quarterly basis, with trips planned to various rehabilitation facilities around the state. Please feel welcome to participate in any or all of these activities.
