Student Ambassadors

The Student Ambassador Program was established to improve outreach to prospective students and build relationships with our alumni and the WSU community. Ambassadors will represent the College of Engineering and Computer Science and serve as hosts and hostesses at various events, both on and off-campus.

CECS Student Ambassadors are a select group of students who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and exemplary student leadership. Ambassadors are dedicated to serving and representing the College of Engineering and Computer Science and Wright State University.

"Students and faculty are very easy to approach and get along with. They're always willing to help out and they make being a part of CECS very enjoyable. What do you like most about CECS?

"I like CECS because of how involved people are in the college. There are always events going on in Russ and there is always someone around to help if you're struggling on a certain topic and to encourage you. CECS is a great place to be and I've never regretted choosing an engineering major."

Who did you co-op with? What did you find most beneficial about your co-op?

"I have a co-op with Southwest Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE) working with modeling molecular compounds for the Air Force Research Lab. The best things about my co-op are learning about new things without pressure of short deadlines and grades, and working with scientist and engineers in a professional environment. "
