Exploration and Imagination
Have you ever wondered who created the computer you are working on? Have you
ever thought about who designed your favorite rollercoaster? Or how and why
cell phones work? The answer: engineers and computer scientists. They create
almost all of the today's coolest technologies. They are problem solvers
searching for the best, quickest, and least expensive ways to tackle a
challenge, whether that challenge is designing an environmentally-friendly car
or developing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for the military to keep pilots
out of harm's way.
Here at Wright State, we help people become engineers and turn their creative
ideas into reality. If you're curious about engineering or computer science, and
wonder whether it's something you might enjoy - or if you're the parent or teacher
of someone who fits that description - we have several ways to help you explore
the fields.
