Research focus: 1) Web 3.0: Semantic Web: semantics-enabled social, services and sensor computing, smart mashups. Applications of semantic computing to biomedicine, healthcare, defense and intelligence, social networking. 2) Computing for Human Experience: Semantics to integrate activities in physical world and cyber space; semantics-enabled active perception - computing/sensing.
