John Gallagher

Education

B.S., Computer Engineering
Case Western Reserve University (1989)

M.S., Computer Science
Case Western Reserve University (1991)

Ph.D., Computer Engineering
Case Western Reserve University (1998)

Dr. Gallagher joined the Department in 2000 and accepted a joint appointment in the Department of Electrical Engineering in 2005. In 2003 he received a National Science Foundation Early Career Development Award (CAREER) to support the development of self-configuring electronic circuits for computation and control applications. He has received additional NSF support to develop materials and technologies to support online courses in robotics and applied artificial intelligence. More recently, he has joined WSU's Learning with Disability Group and is heavily involved in increasing the representation of those with disabilities in engineering and science fields.
