Graduate Certificate Program in Database Management and Design
Objective: To provide timely technical experience in
the fundamentals and methodologies of modern database management design
practices to practitioners of more classical approaches.
Admission Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field.
- At least 3 years of industrial experience in the programming field.
Program Requirements (16 hrs)
CS 600 (4 QHrs) Data Structures and Software Design
CS 605 (4 QHrs) Introduction to Database Management Systems
CS 701 (4 QHrs) Database Systems and Design I
CS 801 (4 QHrs) Advanced Topics In Database Systems
NOTE: A minimum of 12 Quarter Hours of formal
coursework must be taken at Wright State University. The CS 600
requirement may be waived based on prior accredited relevant coursework,
or very extensive industrial experience in the software area.
