Advising

Undergraduate Advising

The Department has a mandatory quarterly advising policy. Undergraduate students are required to meet with our Undergraduate Academic Advisor, Angela Griffith, on a quarterly basis prior to registration. This allows students to ensure that they are meeting all pre-requisite requirements, as well as, meeting all requirements for obtaining a co-op or for graduation.

To schedule an appointment to meet with Angela please call the main office, 937-775-5040. If you are unable to arrange a meeting at minimum, please submit the Request for Registration form. The form must be filled out completely, and you are asked to list all preferred courses for that quarter. Angela will review your schedule and contact you with any foreseen problems. In addition, should you receive any registration errors, please contact the main office for assistance.

Graduate Advising

Graduate advising is done by Dr. George Huang, the Department Chair. All graduate students must meet with Dr. Huang to discuss their graduate courses and establish a program of study. The program of study should be finalized by the time the student completes 12 credit hours of graduate study.
