Example 2

1. Select a sagittal, coronal or axial slice. 2. Select points around the tumor.
Slice #-20, sagittal was selected. Control points were selected.

3. An elastic curve is generated.

4. Result of interactive segmentation.
Boundary and its control points. Final segmentation of slice #-20.

5. Now user can select slices preceding or following the initial slice for segmentation.
Automatic segmentation of slice #-19.

Automatic segmentation of slice #-18.

Automatic segmentation of slice #-17. Automatic segmentation of slice #-16.

6. Process may be interrupted to revise each slice manually, if necessary.

7. Three-dimensional rendering results after segmentation of 47 slices.
Side view of the tumor after segmentation. Top view of the tumor after segmentation.
