I took the Moravian Workbench Class at the Woodwright’s School in April 2016. It was the best vacation I’ve ever had. I stayed at a nearby bed and breakfast, and walked the half-mile to and from the school (uphill both ways!). We worked hard from 8:30 to 6:00 every day, and made steady progress on our workbenches. I learned the importance of having the most important tool in the workshop: A good workbench! How ironic! Either Will or Roy would bring us treats from the bakery across the street, and we would all go to lunch together in the various eateries around Pittsboro. Will did a great job of explaining each step of the process in detail, and provided us with the much-needed insight into how to fix our mistakes. I would recommend this class to anyone who has a passion for woodworking. I can’t believe I went for years and years without a proper workbench!
