As a current student in the Ph.D. in Engineering Program, you have much to look forward to: exciting opportunities to expand your engineering knowledge through course work, collaboration, and research. In your quest for the doctoral degree, you will be required to select a dissertation advisor and committee, and pass the milestones that chart your progress: the qualifying exam, candidacy exam, research proposal defense and, finally, the dissertation defense.

This section has been designed to guide you through the program and to answer any questions you may have about meeting the requirements of the Ph.D. in Engineering degree.

The Ph.D. in Engineering Program Office is also available to answer your questions about the program. Contact Alysoun Taylor, Program Coordinator, by phone at 937-775-5075 or by email.
