Degree Requirements

Core Course Requirement

The purpose of the core course requirement is to assure that you have a strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals. To satisfy this requirement, you must pass three of five interdisciplinary core courses. The core courses are as follows:

• EGR 701 Linear Systems
  (offered fall, winter and spring quarters)
• EGR 702 Systems Engineering and Analysis
  (offered winter quarter)
• EGR 703 Computation Engineering Analysis
  (offered fall quarter)
• EGR 704 Design Optimization
  (offered winter quarter)
• EGR 705 Design and Analysis of Engineering Experiments
  (offered fall and spring quarters)

Core courses taken beyond the required three may be used to satisfy major or breadth requirements.
