This ideal city-center location is in the downtown business district and just seven blocks north of the National Mall, which makes visiting the Smithsonian Museums, the National Monuments, Georgetown and historic sites very convenient. The Metro subway is only a three-block walk. Chinatown, Gallery Place shopping and entertainment complex and the Verizon Center are a four-block stroll. Union Station is one mile away.

Internet Access

SAFE 2007 will provide complimentary wireless internet access for use by workshop registrants on Thursday and Friday, April 12 and 13. Upon picking up your workshop materials at the SAFE 2007 Hospitality Desk, you will be provided a dedicated workshop code, which may be used in the meeting space as well as the hotel lobby. In addition to the complimentary access provided by SAFE 2007, you may take advantage of one of the two hotel computer kiosks located in the Main Lobby or the Business Center, which is on the Lower Level. Wired access is available in your guestroom at a fee of $9.95 per 24 hours. This fee will be added to your incidental account at the hotel.
