Multi-link Prosthetic Knee

Mauch Laboratories Inc. currently markets an older frame design for knee disarticulate (K/D) amputees. This project will provide a competitive multi-link prosthetic knee design for younger, active K/D amputees.  These amputees require an inherently less stable knee configuration for their active lifestyles. For the comfort of the amputee, this design configuration should be as light as possible while providing a more accurate representation of a real knee in function and appearance.
