Centers of Excellence in Information Assurance
CMU | Florida State | James Madison
| George Mason | Idaho State | Iowa
State | Purdue | National Defense U | Naval Postgraduate School | Purdue | Stanford | UC at Davis | Uof Idaho | U of Tulsa
On 11 May 1999, the above seven universities were designated as the first Centers of Excellence
in Information Assurance. NSA granted the designations following a rigorous
review of university applications against published criteria based on training
standards established by the National Security
Telecommunications and Information Systems Security Committee.
