The OSIS lab is located in 429 Russ.  The lab is intended for use by students and others interested in Operating Systems and Internet Security.   This work was supported in part by NSF DUE-9951380.

The OSIS Lab is swipe-card accessible to all students enrolled in 

and also to all faculty of Department of Computer Science and Engineering..

Visitors can evaluate our lab via login-id guest (password guest007) account.

  The Lab has 26 PCs, networked, and with P4 2.4 GHz CPU, 1024 MB RAM, 80 GB HDD, and DVD-ROM

Each PC can be independently booted by students into one of several variations of Linux, or Windows XP Professional.

The names of the PCs are those of the past ACM Turing Award Winners.
