Take 2: No Changes in Required Courses, 1 Sem-Hr loss in Electives

May 8, 2009

The following is Take2, keeping all 13 existing required courses as 12-required in the semester system.   It does not suggest regrouping of any courses as we transition into semesters -- see Take3.  It does round-up all fractional semester-hours.

It is limited to looking at the I. CS and CEG COURSES, which is  86 QHrs.  Note that (i) this includes EGR 335; (ii) 86 QHrs equal 57 1/3 SHrs.   Because of rounding-up into semester-hours, CS/CEG elective hours are reduced from the 36 Qhrs == 24 SHrs to 23 Shrs.  (So that 8 typical 3-SHr courses are possible, we may want to increase this back to 24.)
