Girl Scout Day
This Saturday at 9am in Oelman Hall, Girl Scout Day is being held for
the girls to earn their aerospace badges. Currently it's still going
on (a notice will be sent out if it's called off). Volunteers are
encouraged to show up at 8:30am to help set up.
Matlab
Intro to Matlab is scheduled for Wed, February 9th: 6pm in the 152B lab by the computer lab in Russ. We still need to pick a date for the
refresher training and figure out who will be participating! Please let me or Christine know the best times for the week before the 9th. (we're looking at Saturday, Sunday, Monday or Tuesday)Also we need to make fliers to post and send out. The current price we've decided on to attend will be $2-$3 and can depend on whether snacks are included (soda and chips, maybe candy).
Trebuchet Competition
The Trebuchet competition still needs volunteers. Please sign up at
www.cs.wright.edu/trebuchet
The competition is during E-week, Feb 23rd, 8AM-2PM at the Nutter
center. Volunteers are asked to arrive early. More info to come.
E-Week
E-week is coming up, and we need ideas for the table theme and mock-tails. Don't know what a mock-tail is? It’s a concoction (drink) of our own
device that is tasty and will make people want to vote for it as their favorite. Last year, Elizabeth had a great one (which we won the competition with) which was grape juice and ginger ale. Have any good ideas for that or the table theme? Bring them on!
