Pick a time, anytime:
Yes, it's time to pick a meeting time for spring quarter. Most of the officers are graduations, and the torch must be passed, so it's important for you to make a choice about when you can attend. Don't see a time you like? We are open to suggestions! If you would like to hold an office next year, have something to put on that resume or just want to be involved, speak up and let us know when you'd like the meetings to be held!

-Possible meeting times:
•Tues: 11am or 4pm
•Wed: 3pm or 6pm

Rally the troops
As always, it's important to encourage our fellow female engineers to come and join us. One of our newer members had some great ideas about how to let the younger students know about us; go to their calculus and physics classes, along with the statics and dynamics and personally invite them, one on one. If you know a female engineer who should be coming, invite her! If you want to come, but have conflicts, let us know! Most of the officers are graduating, so it's up to you to carry on!

What do you want to do
We have some activities we're in the process of planning
•Trip to the Air Force Museum and Imax- Great opportunity for anyone who hasn't been but wanted to, and the Imax is always fun! This would be a great way to start off the spring quarter.
•Cook-out and volleyball- get to know your fellow students, relax and have a good time. Weather is an issue, so this may be a little later
•High school female engineering day- this was an activity that was held before the new group was established, but we would love to host a day for surrounding high school females to encourage them to pursue becoming engineers.
•Ideas? - Please let us know what you think!

Writing on the wall
Tunnel painting is coming up, and because we're in good standing, we get to paint the tunnel! They need a transparency copy of our design by 5pm Wednesday April 13th, so brainstorm on what you think we should do. Criteria: Our logo or name, it can be in full blown Technicolor (we supply paint) and that's about it! Let us know your ideas by brining them to a meeting or emailing them to Madame Secretary.

Next Thursday
We the last meeting of the quarter, next thurs 3/10 at 6:30. There will be pizza and please attend so we can decide the meeting time for spring quarter.
