A. Sudkamp
I am a Professor in the Department of Computer
Science and Engineering at Wright
State University.
My research interests have included the fields of approximate reasoning,
artificial intelligence, and mathematical logic. Current interests are
in the application of soft computing techniques for modeling and decision
making in complex problem domains. I am also interested in machine learning
with uncertain and imprecise information and knowledge discovery.
I am currently an associate editor for the IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and
Cybernetics and the IEEE
Transactions on Fuzzy Systems and an area editor for the International Journal of Approximate
Reasoning and Fuzzy Sets and
Systems. I am also a member of the
editorial board The International
Journal of Computational Intelligence.
I have served as president of the North
American Fuzzy Information Processing Society (NAFIPS) and vice president of the International Fuzzy Systems Association (IFSA).
